How these terms work
These terms are the overarching agreement between you and us. They work together with the policy for the service you use:
- ✦Beauty treatments: Booking Policy, Cancellation Policy and Salon & Service Policies
- ✦Training: Training Academy policies
- ✦Business coaching: Business Coaching Policy
- ✦eBooks and online courses: Digital Product Terms
- ✦Physical products: Shipping Policy and Returns Policy
- ✦Your information: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
If a specific policy and these terms conflict, the specific policy applies to that service.
Opening hours
Monday closed · Tuesday 9am–5:30pm · Wednesday 9am–4pm · Thursday 9am–5:30pm · Friday 9am–4pm · Saturday 9am–5:30pm · Sunday closed. Hours are also shown on our Contact page.
Bookings, deposits and payment
Treatments are booked online through Acuity. A £20 deposit is paid online at booking, processed by Square, and is deducted from your treatment price. Your deposit is valid for one calendar month from the date you pay it, and any rescheduled appointment must take place within that period (see our Booking Policy). Any premium-slot supplement that applies is shown at booking. Training, coaching and digital products have their own payment terms in the policies listed above. Outstanding treatment balances are paid in cash at the salon.
Consultations and suitability
All treatments require the relevant consultation form to be completed before treatment, and some need a patch test. We may postpone or decline a treatment if it isn't safe or suitable, and we will explain why.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms or our policies removes or limits your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Goods and digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Cancellations
Our cancellation charges reflect our reasonable losses; they are not penalties. If we cancel your treatment, you can choose to reschedule or have your deposit refunded. See the relevant policy for details.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to disclose relevant medical information or to follow aftercare advice.
Intellectual property
Our website content, photographs, course materials, eBooks and teaching resources are our copyright (or used with permission). "Mascara Mood" is the name of our signature lash style. We do not claim it is a registered trademark. You may not copy, resell or redistribute our materials without written permission.
Photographs
We only use photos of you on our website or social media with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time for future use.
Conduct
We may refuse or end a service where a client or student behaves abusively or unsafely towards staff or other clients.
Complaints
Please contact us at nae2slae@gmail.com or +44 7593 589004. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and to give a full response within 14 working days. These are target timeframes, not guarantees of a particular outcome. If we need more time to investigate, we will update you and explain the delay.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you book or buy applies to that booking or purchase.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
